As I patiently waited for the arrival of the E train, I was disturbed by emerging voices of profanity. A woman pushing a stroller with her baby angrily yells at another woman , “F off you F`n immigrant" (Although, a successful one it seemed by her appearance) and both stormed quarreling along the platform. The underground 'Musician' tried to rectify the awkward situation by deliberately strumming harder on his guitar and building a crescendo. I shook my head in disappointment while a middle aged couple with hands occupied with bags and a suitcase stood beside me. 'F'kin people...F'kin think they are high and mighty'. Before I could react once again,I was interrupted by a man following a woman, telling her 'I f'kin had enough'. Now, at this point,I wondered if this route was the correct way home or had I landed in a place where people spoke curse. My thoughts drifted away with the loud sounds and wind of the coming train. I quickly hopped on wishing that my long day would have ended better and thinking...America needs healing or perhaps the entire world needs healing. May Allah forgive us and have Mercy on us.
